Free Materials for the Semiquincentennial (or for civics anytime)

The New Jersey State Bar Foundation has free civics-based materials to use in your classroom, post in your library and share with community groups to use as we approach the celebration of our nation’s historic milestone on July 4, 2026. The materials and resources, all created or curated, include posters, founding documents of the United States, quotes about democracy, revolutionary trivia about New Jersey, publications and newsletters (complete with glossaries, discussion questions and more).

This booklet contains The Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, as well as the first 10 Amendments, also known as the Bill of Rights. An article about the Articles of Confederation is also included.
