What You Need to Know: Understanding the Immigration System

Everyone, regardless of their immigration status, has basic rights and responsibilities under the state and federal constitutions and benefits from understanding the organizations and agencies that might be involved in navigating their lives. This free, virtual seminar for the community will cover everything you need to know about the immigration system. It will cover how it works, what your rights and responsibilities are and how to find important resources. This seminar will also cover information about interacting with immigration officials, obligations of employers, and other updates related to immigration law today. Speakers are members of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Immigration Law Section.
