Peer Mediation
Peer mediation is not the same as conflict resolution. Peer mediation is a conflict resolution process where students mediate conflict among their peers. The Foundation’s peer mediation training discusses, among other things, how to implement and sustain a student-based program in your school, how to train students to be peer mediators and how mediation has been proven to reduce incidents of school violence.
Each participant will receive our updated guide, The FAQs of Peer Mediation, applicable posters, and handouts that will aid them in developing a relevant peer mediation program for their school.
Trainings are free for New Jersey Educators.
Peer Mediation training is scheduled throughout the year. Visit our Events page for a schedule of upcoming trainings and to register. If a training is full, click HERE to be put on the waiting list.
