The New Jersey State Bar Foundation’s governing body reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to diversity and inclusion at its recent Board of Trustees meeting. On April 27, 2022, the Board adopted a “Statement of Diversity and Inclusion.” The Statement sends a strong message and presents an opportunity for tangible results in the areas of diversity and inclusion.
“The New Jersey State Bar Foundation has a fierce and longstanding commitment to the principles of fostering diversity and inclusion in all of its programs. As the preeminent provider of free law-related and violence prevention education to the public in New Jersey, we want everyone to feel that our programs speak to them. This Statement reaffirms that commitment and highlights the need to recognize and listen to diverse voices in delivering comprehensive public education programs and to honor the rich value that inclusiveness can bring,” said NJSBF President Kathleen N. Fennelly.
