The Law and Disability Conference is sponsored by the New Jersey State Bar Foundation and planned and presented by the Community Health Law Project. This half-day event will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2020, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. and feature a keynote address on Supportive Housing Options for Individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities and Serious Mental Illness. Attendees will then have a choice of three (3) special workshops on:

  • Special Needs Trusts & Able Accounts
  • Medicaid – Eligibility & Other Issues
  • Transition Process and Planning for Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Transitioning from the Children’s System of Care (DCF) to the Adult System of Care (DDD)

This timely and informative conference is targeted to those individuals living with a disability, their family members, advocates, and other service professionals. Admission is FREE, but reservations are required and space is limited, so you are encouraged to register early.
