With the judging completed, the winning schools and classes in the New Jersey State Bar Foundation’s 2018 Law Fair (grades 3-6) and Law Adventure (grades 7-8) mock trial competitions have been selected out of 84 entries for Law Fair and 138 entries for Law Adventure.
In each of the two competitions, students and their teachers were asked to create and write original cases focusing on legal issues of interest to their contemporaries and which could be used as a tool to teach about the law.
Law Fair winners will present their cases May 22-25, and Law Adventure May 14-17, before an audience of judges, attorneys and juries of their peers. More than 2,000 students are slated to attend and serve as jurors at the home of the Bar Foundation, the New Jersey Law Center, One Constitution Square off Ryders Lane in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
